A Group of Pharmacists at your Service

IV Tech Pharma is an important group of pharmacists dedicated to sterile compounding of hazardous and regular preparations in community pharmacy. The affiliated pharmacists have been active in this field since 2008 and now operate 3 cleanrooms (with a total of 9 laminar airflow hoods, including 2 biosafety cabinets).

These state-of-the-art facilities, combined with unrivaled employee support and excellent knowledge of the field, enable the affiliated pharmacists to offer personalized, timely and professional service to patients, fellow pharmacists and all other healthcare providers.

Noha Bestawros

B. Pharm., M. Sc.

I graduated from the University of Montreal (UdeM) in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Hospital pharmacy. Following my residency at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), I worked as a cardiology pharmacist from 2004 to 2006 at Sacré-Cœur Hospital in Montreal. During my first maternity leave in 2006, I took on the project that lead to the opening in 2008 of the first of the three pharmacies dedicated to the preparation of sterile products (Hochelaga branch). Associate clinician since 2005, I participate as a tutor at the Pharm. D. student labs at UdeM. Since Fall of 2019, I am also a lecturer at this university and am responsible for the sterile preparation courses taught in the Maîtrise en pharmacothérapie avancée (MPA) Program. Creative and a little (too!) perfectionist, I like to imagine, design, innovate. I love drawing and painting, I appreciate the beauty that surrounds me and helping others gives me a great sense of well-being and satisfaction.

 

Christian Shefteshy

B. Sc., B. Pharm.

I graduated from the University of Montreal in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Laval University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. I have been working as a community pharmacist since 2003 and have gained extensive experience in the service of nursing homes through work with my father. In 2008, I became an associate owner of a pharmacy affiliated with the Uniprix group, which I let go of in 2011 to move towards a more specialized practice of pharmacy. My varied clinical and administrative backgrounds, acquired over the last few years, serve me daily. I am passionate about technology and I have always enjoyed video games. In addition to being a “mister gadget” always curious to discover and make new finds, I love to laugh and specially to make others laugh thanks to my undeniable sense of humor!
